(CNN) – Charlie Brown and the “Peanuts” gang are coming to postage stamps.
The U.S. Postal Service will begin selling stamps celebrating the 50th anniversary of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” Thursday.
The stamps feature 10-scenes from the beloved TV special, which first aired in 1965.
The release also coincides with the 65th anniversary of the “Peanuts” comic strip.
It debuted in just seven newspapers on October 2, 1950.
By the time of creator Charles Schulz’s death in 2000, “Peanuts” was syndicated in more than 2,600 newspapers worldwide.
