CAMPBELL, California (KRON) — Shoppers at the Target store in Campbell, California looking for Halloween bargains got more tricks than treats when audio of a woman making moaning sounds and talking dirty was broadcast over the loudspeakers.

The moans weren’t of the spooky variety — more like the exceedingly erotic sounds heard in X-rated videos.

“Parents were covering their kids ears and offering to help me cover my twins ears,” said Gina Young, a Target customer who captured the incident on her cell phone and posted the video on Facebook.

Wednesday’s incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. while Young and her two toddler sons shopped at the Target in the Westgate Center located at 1600 Saratoga Ave.

The porn soundtrack played throughout the store for more than 15 minutes as employees raced around the store to stop the disturbing soundtrack, according to Young.

“People were up in arms. Some people threw their things down and walked out. Others were yelling at employees,” she wrote on Facebook. “Crazy!!!”

One of her sons is heard crying in the video.

“It was dirty too, very explicit foul language. I can never look at Target the same again,” Young said.

A report by Minneapolis newspaper Star Tribune said that the company is investigating the incident and working to “ensure this doesn’t happen again.”

“Because this is an active investigation, I’m unable to share additional details, but we want our guests to know that we take this very seriously,” Molly Snyder, spokeswoman for the Minneapolis-based retailer told the Star Tribune newspaper.

This is the second time a Target store in California was caught blaring porn audio over its intercom system.

On July 10, police were called to the the San Luis Obispo Target store when an x-rated soundtrack was broadcast in its store just before noon. Staff and customers were evacuated until the audio was turned off.
