NEW YORK, NY (WKBN) – Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign officially filed to be on the March primary ballot in Ohio, announced in a press release on Friday.
The release also said his campaign filed to appear on ballots in Hawaii and South Carolina, and filed delegates in Ohio for the Republican National Convention, which takes place in July 2016 in Cleveland.
Trump was quoted as saying, “In Ohio, I have a double digit lead over failed Governor John Kasich and was proud to have 14,000 people attend the rally in Columbus last month…Thanks to the support of people in these three states and beyond we are going to make America great again!”
Earlier this week, Trump’s campaign filed to be on the primary ballots in Tennessee and Oklahoma as well.
