MENIFEE, Calif. (AP) – Authorities say a school bus and a car have collided in Riverside County, injuring 22 people.
County fire officials say the crash occurred shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday at an intersection in Menifee in the southwestern area of the county.
Authorities say one person in the car had major injuries and another had minor injuries.
Nineteen high school students on the bus and the driver had moderate injuries.
However, only four people were taken to hospitals.
The bus is from the Perris Union High School District.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
