Boardman, Youngstown hospitals make top 20 in USN’s Ohio rankings

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – U.S. News & World Report is out with its annual rankings of the best hospitals in America.

St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown came in at #17 on the Ohio rankings, while St. Elizabeth’s in Boardman ranked 18th.

Massachusetts General Hospital, which was Number two last year, reclaimed the top spot on the Honor Roll, which features hospitals that score near the top in at least six specialties.

The Cleveland Clinic ranked Number 1 in cardiology & heart surgery.

Hospital for Special Surgery in New York ranked Number 1 in orthopedics.

To make the list, data for nearly 5,000 hospitals nationwide and results from more than 140,000 physician surveys are compiled.
