SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police have arrested a man after they say he threatened to commit a mass shooting at an elementary school.

According to police, Peter Breault, 20, was charged following a joint investigation with SUNY Adirondack Public Safety.

Police investigators say there were some concerns over journal entries where Breault stated he wanted to carry out a ‘shooting at an elementary school.’

Breault did not say which school. The journals were turned over by SUNY Adirondack Public Safety to NYS Police.

There is no indication that Breault had access to weapons or firearms.

Breault, a student at SUNY Adirondack in Queensbury, New York, was charged with making a terroristic threat and remanded to Warren County Jail.
